A timeless memory in the form of an artwork of your pet or of you and your pet can be created from just a few photos.

 

Pet portraits are a great way to capture your pet's personality and unique beauty. They make a thoughtful gift idea and can be a special way to remember much loved pets that are no longer with us. Photos of your companion dog, cat, horse, bird or any other furry or feathered friend can be transformed into an artwork to treasure.

 

Just send me a few photos - black and white or colour and tell me what size and medium you would like and any details you would like on the finished product such as your pet's name. It takes about two to three weeks from the time an order is received, as creating your pet's portrait in a realistic and detailed drawing with depth of character takes time and attention to detail. The media I use is pencil and graphite for black and white and Prismacolor coloured pencils or chalk pastels for colour pet portraits. 

 

The following is a cost guide for my custom pet portraits. It is always best to talk to me about the quote as each artwork is unique and I will do my best to cater to your individual requirements:

 

A4 - $80    Pencil

         $100    Colour

unframed (210 x 297 mm approx) or approx 8" x 12"photo size

 

A5 - $50    Pencil

         $70    Colour

unframed (210 x 148 mm approx) or approx 6" x 8"   photo size

 

A3 -  $150  Pencil

          $200  Colour

unframed (297 x 420 mm approx)  or approx 12" x 16 "photo size- the most popular size

 

A2 - $200 Pencil

         $250  Colour

unframed (420 x 594 mm approx) or approx 16" x 23.5" photo size

 

I can also tailor the portrait to the size of your photo or picture frame.

 

Additional animals or owners in the portrait are  $20 for each additional subject. Please contact me to discuss what you would like. Each piece is unique and does take some time to prepare so make sure you contact me at least three weeks before you need it!

 

I am happy to provide discounts to pensioners and financially disadvantaged. I aim to make my pet portraits available to every pet lover and to the friends and family members of those with pets.  The completed work can be shipped to anywhere in Australia. Generally communication can mostly be by email.

 

I deliver at no extra charge anywhere in the Hornsby Shire. Postage and handling is  approx. $10-$15 extra.
